Vow Financial has launched My Mortgage Kit, a free application for the iPhone and iPad. The portable tool can provide loan comparisons, calculate how much prospective customers can borrow, the stamp duty in each state and territory, as well as work out a home loan repayment plan. All calculations can be exported via email. The application also boasts a number of useful features for first home buyers, including a budget planner; moving home checklist; loan application checklist; 'jargon buster' dictionary of property terms; successful steps to buying your first home; and breaking news in finance. "It's a great tool for Australians looking to buy their first home, invest or refinance, or just looking at what else is out there," said Vow Financial Marketing Manager Matt Mitchener. "It will give all brokers, real estate agents, conveyancers, accountants and others in the industry a tool to use on the road." Vow Financial launches iPhone app Digital expansion for Bankwest Drawing on the user-friendly principles of online shopping, bankwest.com.au has pioneered a website redesign. Some of the new features include a predictive search engine, shopping cart function, user-generated comparison charts and ways to save and share selections. "The new website offers customers a range of tools to help them select, compare and apply for products online," said Vittoria Short, Retail Chief Executive. The redesign coincides with the launch of its free iPhone application. LoanKit reaches recruitment milestone LoanKit has recruited over 100 brokers since the company's relaunch in April 2010, marking a significant progress milestone for the young mortgage aggregator. "There is a sense of excitement here at LoanKit as the business continues to gather momentum," says Trish Taylor, NSW Business Development Manager. "We have an ongoing focus on recruitment but have not lost sight of our existing members because they are the reason we are becoming more successful." White label launch Aggregator group Connective has launched a new white label product suite, and has appointed Michael Goerner, formerly of CBA and Liberty Finance, to oversee its development.
